Cornbread

Cornbread (from my mom, originally from Pampered Chef?)

1 1/4 C cornmeal
1 1/4 C flour
1/4 C sugar
1 Tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg
1 1/4 C milk
1/3 C oil
2/3 C shredded cheese

Heat oven to 425 F (or less?). Grease 9 x 13 inch pan. Mix dry ingredients together. In a separate bowl, beat egg, and add milk and oil to it. Mix the wet into the dry. Add shredded cheese and pour into the baking pan. Bake for 15 minutes or so until it is a bit brown and the toothpick is clean.
